12 and 15 Passenger Van Rental Orlando

Chauffeured vans for airport arrivals, Disney and Universal runs, and Port Canaveral cruise transfers. A licensed driver, a fixed rate, and no shared stops. The only real question is how much luggage is coming with you.

The quick answer

The honest starting point is that a "12-passenger van" seats up to 10 and a "15-passenger van" seats up to 14, because the marketed number counts the driver and a back bench that your luggage usually needs. So the real question is not how many people you are, it is how many people plus how many bags. A group of ten flying into Orlando International Airport (MCO) with a week of cruise luggage wants the configuration with the rear row out; the same ten going to a park for the day, traveling light, fit comfortably with all rows in. Every Orlux van is chauffeured, so there is no rental counter, no deposit and no resort parking fee. Tell us the head count and the bag count and we confirm the right vehicle with your flat rate, usually within the hour. Call or text 689-407-2496.

How much is a 12 or 15 passenger van rental in Orlando?

Rates are flat and per vehicle, so the bigger the group the lower the cost per head. Here is one trip in each size class to show the range. Your exact quote comes back on the form.

Most popular
MCO round-trip to Disney or Universal
A chauffeured Van both ways between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and the Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando or International Drive areas. At a full ten passengers that is about $17.50 per person each way, with the tolls already inside the rate.

MCO to Port Canaveral, bigger group
A 14-Passenger Van from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to the Port Canaveral cruise terminals, about 60 minutes on State Road 528. The size class to pick when the group is over ten or the bags are the deciding factor.

Approximate starting rates, flat and per vehicle rather than per person. At full capacity the Van works out near $17.50 a head to the parks and the 14-Passenger Van near $27. Smaller groups ride a Luxury SUV or Luxury Sedan at their own lower rate, and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) runs are quoted the same way. Tolls, car seats and boosters, bottled water and curbside meet-and-greet are included at no extra charge; only gratuity is extra, and you can add it on request. Get your exact quote →
Insider note

Count the bags before you count the people. A party of ten with hand luggage and a party of ten with a week of cruise cases need different vans, and the second one is where groups get caught out - the seats are there, the cargo space is not. Give us both numbers when you book and we assign the configuration rather than leaving you to guess.

Why chauffeured

Why not just rent the van and drive it yourself?

Because the headline rental rate is not the real cost, and driving a high-roof van through resort traffic is not the holiday anyone pictured.

The extras that are not in the headline

Rental vans add parking, tolls, fuel and a deposit. A chauffeured rate includes the tolls and there is no parking to pay, because the vehicle does not stay.

No SkyConnect, no counter

Collecting a rental at Orlando International Airport means the SkyConnect out to the rental car center and a queue at the end of it. Your driver is at baggage claim instead.

Everyone travels together

One vehicle, one departure time, no convoy. And nobody in the group spends the trip driving instead of being on it.

Car seats included and fitted

Forward-facing seats and boosters at no extra charge, installed before pickup. Request them at booking and they are simply there.

Flight tracked, no shared stops

Your driver monitors the inbound and adjusts staging. The van then goes straight to your destination with no intermediate pickups.

Configured for real luggage

High-roof, high-payload vehicles, with the option to drop the rear row for maximum cargo. Cruise loads are the normal case here, not the exception.

The real difference

12 or 15 passenger van, which is right for your group?

The seat counts are marketing numbers. The practical difference is cargo space, and that is what should decide it.

Why the numbers differ from the badge

A "15-passenger van" counts the driver's seat in the total, so fourteen people ride. A "12-passenger" configuration removes the rear bench to open up the cargo area, which is why it seats ten but carries far more. Orlux confirms the right configuration for your seat-to-bag ratio at the time of booking rather than leaving you to decode it. The per-person figures for each size are in the rates section above.

Where the vans run

Which Orlando pickups and routes do the vans cover?

The named hotels and terminals a group van actually gets called to, rather than a list of cities.

  • Airports - Orlando International Airport (MCO) with commercial lane staging at Terminal A, Terminal B and Terminal C and real-time flight tracking included. Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) covers Allegiant, Flair and Sun Country arrivals connecting on to Walt Disney World or Port Canaveral. Terminal-by-terminal detail sits on our Orlando airport car service page.
  • Walt Disney World resorts - Every resort hotel, including Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and the value resorts, plus the Lake Buena Vista hotels.
  • Universal Orlando and International Drive - Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, plus the Rosen properties, the convention center hotels and the wider International Drive corridor around the Orange County Convention Center.
  • Local Orlando - Downtown Orlando, Winter Park, Lake Nona, Dr. Phillips, Windermere and the Kissimmee 192 corridor, alongside SeaWorld Orlando and the Port Canaveral cruise terminals.

Orlux private passenger van transfers are best for:

  • Multi-family arrivals - groups of eight to fourteen landing at Orlando International Airport on one flight
  • Cruise parties - running to Port Canaveral with a week of luggage per person
  • Wedding parties - moving between a hotel and a venue on a fixed timeline
  • Corporate teams - heading to the Orange County Convention Center and arriving together
  • Theme park days - where the group would otherwise pay resort parking and walk from a tram
  • Youth and church groups - where a single licensed driver is a safeguarding requirement
  • Rental comparers - anyone who priced a self-drive van and then read the parking, toll and deposit terms

Local knowledge

What should a group know before booking a passenger van?

The practical things that decide whether a group transfer runs smoothly in Orlando.

The rear row is the luggage row

On a full-size van the back bench and the cargo area are the same space in practice. If ten people are bringing ten large cases, the rear row comes out and the vehicle seats ten rather than twelve. That trade is the whole decision.

Vans stage in the commercial lane at MCO

A sedan can use the inner curb; a full-size van cannot. Your driver meets the group at baggage claim with a name sign and walks everyone out to the commercial staging lane, so nobody is looking for a vehicle.

Theme parks have a commercial gate

Chauffeured vehicles drop at the commercial entrance rather than the main parking lot, which skips the parking tram entirely. On a park day with a group that is usually twenty minutes each way.

Sanford is a longer run than it looks

Orlando Sanford International Airport is north-east of the city, roughly 45 minutes further from the Disney corridor than MCO. Worth building into the arrival day if the group took the cheaper fare.

Car seats need ages, not numbers

"Two kids" is not enough to fit the right restraints. Give us ages and weights at booking and forward-facing seats or boosters are installed before the van arrives, at no extra charge.

One contact on the day

One person books and one person is the point of contact. A group of twelve texting the driver from twelve phones is the most common reason a pickup runs slow.

Planning a smooth group van transfer

  • Book two to three weeks ahead in peak weeks. Spring break, Thanksgiving, Christmas and the big convention weeks take the larger vehicles first. Same-week is often still possible, so call rather than assume.
  • Have both numbers ready. Head count and bag count. Those two decide the configuration, and getting them right at booking is what prevents a scramble at the curb.
  • Flight number, not landing time. The flight number is what dispatch tracks. A landing time copied from a confirmation stops being true the moment the schedule moves.
  • Traffic windows. Interstate 4 through downtown Orlando is slow roughly 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6:30 p.m. on weekdays. Half an hour either side is a noticeably calmer ride.
  • Cruise day works backwards. Most Port Canaveral ships stop boarding 90 minutes before sailing. We plan the transfer from that cut-off, not from your landing time.
  • Book the return with the arrival. It holds the round-trip rate and means the departure morning is already scheduled, which is the leg groups most often leave too late.

Simple booking

How do you book a passenger van in Orlando?

Three steps, and the configuration is confirmed at the first one.

1

Send the two numbers

Head count and bag count, plus the pickup, drop-off, date and time. Call 689-407-2496 or use the form. Your flat rate and the right van configuration are confirmed together.

2

We confirm and track

You get the rate in writing with no add-ons, plus your driver's name and direct mobile before pickup. For airport runs your flight number starts tracking automatically.

3

Meet and go direct

Your chauffeur arrives five to ten minutes early. At Orlando International Airport that means a name sign at baggage claim and luggage handled out to the commercial staging lane, then straight to your destination with no shared stops.
