Luxury Chauffeur Service in Orlando
A chauffeur is not a driver with a nicer car. Licensed, background-checked, commercially insured and trained in the parts of the job you only notice when they are missing. Here is exactly what that means, and what separates it from an app.
A chauffeur service is a professional standard, not a class of vehicle. The car is the visible part; what you are actually paying for is a person who has been licensed, background-checked, drug-tested and trained, driving a commercially insured vehicle, assigned to you by name before the day. That is what separates it from a rideshare app, where the vehicle is whatever arrives and the driver is whoever accepted the request. In practice it shows up in small things: the door is opened for you, your luggage is handled, the route is known rather than read off a screen, and nobody makes conversation you did not start. Orlux runs chauffeur-driven Luxury Sedans, Luxury SUVs, an Executive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and a Lincoln MKT Stretch Limousine across Central Florida. Call or text 689-407-2496.

How is chauffeur service priced in Orlando?
There is no single chauffeur rate, because the price follows how you book rather than who is driving. The chauffeur standard does not change between them. Three models cover almost everything.
- By the trip, at a flat rate - You know where you are going and when. The price is fixed before you book and does not move for traffic, delays or demand. This is how most airport and point-to-point work is quoted, and it is the model on our black car service page.
- By the hour, with the car held for you - You have several stops, or a schedule that will not hold still. The chauffeur and vehicle stay with you for a booked window rather than a single journey. Rates and minimums are on our hourly car service page.
- On account, billed monthly - Your company books regularly and would rather not process a payment every trip. Standing preferences, cost centres and one consolidated invoice. That is our executive transportation page.
Insider note
Ask what is included before you compare two quotes. Ours covers tolls, parking where we can, bottled water, luggage handling and waiting time inside the agreed window. A cheaper headline rate that bills those separately is usually not cheaper. Send your itinerary and we will quote the whole thing as one fixed figure.
What does a chauffeur actually do differently?
Most of it is invisible until it is absent. These are the specific things you are paying a professional for.
They are assigned, not matched
You know the name and the vehicle before the day. Nobody accepts your trip off a queue thirty seconds before pickup.
They have been checked
Licensed, background-screened and drug-tested before their first shift, in a commercially insured vehicle rather than a personal one.
They know the etiquette
Door opened, luggage handled, climate set before you ask, and no conversation unless you start one. Trained, not improvised.
They know the ground
Which Orlando International Airport (MCO) door to meet at, which resort entrance actually admits a chauffeured car, which route holds at five o'clock.
They are discreet
Calls, documents and conversations in the back of the car stay there. For a lot of our riders this is the entire reason they book.
They are early
The vehicle is in position before your time, not en route to it. Punctuality is a standard here, not a best effort.
What does a chauffeur have to clear before they drive you?
Anyone can put on a dark suit. These are the actual gates, in the order a chauffeur passes through them.
Licensing and record
A valid Florida licence with a clean driving record, verified rather than declared. Commercial passenger work carries requirements a personal licence does not.
Background and screening
A criminal background check and drug screening before the first shift, not after an incident. This is the gate app platforms apply most loosely.
Commercial insurance
They drive a commercially insured vehicle. A personal auto policy generally excludes paid passenger carriage, which is the exposure riders almost never think to ask about.
Protocol training
Door-side positioning, luggage handling, how to wait, when not to speak, and how to manage a delay without making it the passenger's problem.
What that buys you on the day
- A named chauffeur and vehicle confirmed before the trip, not assigned at the kerb
- Professional dress and a vehicle cleaned between every booking
- Door service at both ends, with luggage loaded and unloaded for you
- Flight tracking on airport work, so a delay moves the pickup rather than costing you the car
- Meet-and-greet inside the terminal on request, name board included
- Bottled water, climate set on arrival, and a quiet cabin unless you want otherwise
- Discretion as policy, which matters more than any feature in the vehicle
What do Orlux riders say on Google?
Orlux Rides has consistently maintained a shining 5-star rating on Google. Here is what riders say, pulled in live from our verified Google Business Profile.
What is the difference between a chauffeur, a driver and a rideshare?
The words get used interchangeably and they should not be. They describe three different levels of obligation to the passenger.
| Chauffeur Orlux | Rideshare app | |
|---|---|---|
| Who drives you | ✓ Assigned and named before the day | ✗ Whoever accepts the request |
| Screening | ✓ Background check and drug screening | ✗ Platform-dependent and lighter |
| Insurance | ✓ Commercial passenger cover | ✗ Personal policy plus a platform layer |
| Training | ✓ Protocol, etiquette and discretion | ✗ None required |
| Door and luggage | ✓ Handled as standard | ✗ At the driver's discretion |
| The vehicle | ✓ Known in advance, cleaned between trips | ✗ Whatever arrives |
| If something goes wrong | ✓ A dispatcher who answers and a backup vehicle | ✗ A form in an app |
And where does "driver" sit?
Between the two, and the word is doing a lot of hiding. A hired driver operates the vehicle competently and safely, which is the whole job. A chauffeur is a driver who has also been screened, insured commercially and trained in the service side. If a company sells you a "driver" and a chauffeur is what you needed, the gap shows up at the door of the car rather than on the road.
Luxury chauffeur service is best for:
- Named drivers - knowing who is collecting you before the day
- Confidential cabins - riders who take calls or read documents and need that to stay private
- Tracked arrivals - a delay should move the pickup, not cancel it
- Third-party collections - guests and clients you are collecting on someone else's behalf
- App-cancel veterans - anyone who has been dropped at the wrong moment
- One standard - the same service whichever vehicle is booked
What should you expect from a chauffeur in Orlando?
Things a professional here knows that a visiting driver or an app route will not.
MCO has more than one right door
Orlando International Airport (MCO) splits across terminals and levels. A chauffeur meets you at the door matching your airline and your bags, not the one a map defaults to.
Resort entrances are not interchangeable
Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando properties have separate entrances for guests, deliveries and chauffeured arrivals. The wrong one adds fifteen minutes and a walk.
I-4 is a time-of-day problem
The same journey is twenty minutes or fifty depending on when you leave. A chauffeur builds that in when quoting rather than discovering it with you in the car.
Send the flight number, not the time
With the flight number we track the aircraft. With the scheduled time we track a plan. Summer delays are normal here, and the difference is whether your car is waiting.
Say if you want silence
The default is a quiet cabin, but tell us either way and it goes on the booking. Riders who work in the car should not have to manage that conversation themselves.
Ask for the chauffeur's name
Any real operator gives it before the day, along with the vehicle. If a company cannot tell you who is driving until the driver arrives, that tells you what you are buying.
Popular Areas & Destinations We Serve
From top attractions to major transit hubs, Orlux gets you where you want to go. Whether it’s shopping in Kissimmee, marine adventures at SeaWorld, or catching a flight at the airport, our clean cars and courteous drivers are ready when you are.

How do you book a chauffeur in Orlando?
Three steps, and you know who is driving before the first one is finished.
Tell us the journey
Where from, where to, when, how many people and how much luggage. Call or text 689-407-2496, or use the form. Flight number if an airport is involved.
We quote it flat and confirm the chauffeur
One fixed figure with tolls and waiting included, plus the vehicle and the chauffeur's name. Nothing about it changes after you accept.
They are there before you are
In position ahead of your time, tracking your flight if there is one, ready to handle the door and the luggage.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a chauffeur and a driver?
A driver operates the vehicle. A chauffeur has also cleared a background check and drug screening, holds a verified clean record, drives a commercially insured vehicle, and has been trained in the service side of the job: door-side positioning, luggage handling, how to wait, and when not to speak. The driving is the part both have in common. Everything a passenger actually notices sits in the difference, which is why the two words should not be used interchangeably.
Are Orlux chauffeurs background-checked?
Yes, before their first shift rather than after a problem. Every Orlux chauffeur clears a criminal background check and drug screening, holds a valid Florida licence with a verified clean record, and drives a commercially insured vehicle. That last point is the one riders rarely think to ask about: a personal auto policy generally excludes carrying paying passengers, so the cover that applies to you depends on how the operator is insured, not on how the car looks.
Will I know who is collecting me before the day?
Yes. You get the chauffeur’s name and the vehicle in advance, which is the practical difference between an assigned chauffeur and a matched app driver. It matters most when you are sending a car for somebody else, because you can pass on a name rather than telling a client to look for whatever pulls up. Text 689-407-2496 if you need those details reconfirmed on the morning.
Is a chauffeur service private and discreet?
Discretion is policy here, not a courtesy. Conversations, calls and documents in the back of the car stay there, and the default is a quiet cabin unless you open the conversation yourself. A good number of our riders book specifically because they work in transit and need that to be reliable rather than hoped for. If you want the opposite, say so and it goes on the booking.
What vehicles come with a chauffeur?
All of them. The standard does not change with the vehicle, so the Luxury Sedan for up to 3, the Luxury SUV for up to 6, the Executive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for up to 14 and the Lincoln MKT Stretch Limousine for up to 10 are all chauffeur-driven to the same standard. Pick the vehicle on passengers and luggage rather than on the level of service you want, because that part is fixed.
Do I need to tip the chauffeur?
Gratuity is handled up front rather than left as an awkward moment at the kerb. It can be set when the booking is quoted so the whole thing is one figure and nothing is expected of you on arrival. If you would rather add something separately for a chauffeur who did well, that is always welcome, but it is never assumed and never chased.
